Geocell

 

I. Properties:

Geocell is is made of HDPE (high density PE) flats which are bonded together

according to certain specification. the light-weight and flexible cellar

structure strips can be stretched out and folded which makes it convenient

in handling, transportation and installation. The geocell system can be filled

in with  variety  materials such as aggregate, concrete, sand, soil, etc.
 

II. Benefits and Applications

The geocell is ideally suited to stabilizing and retaining soil on steep,

barren slops, increasing the load bearing capacity of load bearing soil

platform over soft unstable soil. The geocell is commonly applied in the

following area:

  • Soil erosion protection of steep slopes
  •  Above water level riverbank protection
  • Water runoff channels, spillways, canal linings
  • Improve bearing capacity of foundation platforms
  • Facings of geosynthetic reinforced soil slopes and vertical structures
